The inception of St. Thomas Church, Jalgaon was on 18 th April 1989. Fr. Sebastian Vazhappilly was appointed as the first shepherd. On 13th June 1992 the charge of the parish was handed over to CMI Congregation. Under the guidance of two zealous priests, Fr. Diego and Fr. Raphael, St. Thomas church started flourishing. The concecration of the present church was on 8th Dec 1998. It has a sub-center at Bhusawal. Yesu Bhavan, the Priest’s home built under the guidence fo Fr. Joseph Akkarawas inaugurated on 15th August 1999.
For the educational purpose a new land was purchased in Tarsod, on Bhusaval road, 9km away from Yesu Bhavan. At present nursery section started in a rented building on 25th June 2012. Foundation stone for the new school building was laid by Fr. Paul Achandy CMI (Provincial )
